I give up trying to explain the Sharks. They are not in the same league as Dallas. The Stars continue their relentless play and are showing a lot more heart.




















The Avalanche injury list is raising a lot of questions about the team. Some wonder if Forsberg's injury woes are a distraction to the team. Pierre McGuire said "no way." I tend to agree. The Avs are not getting scoring from their big guns and they are giving Detroit way too much skating room. Those are the real problems.
It makes me think that the Stars could actually beat the Wings, mostly because they are better defensively.

















Who could ever forsee the Rangers getting swept by the Pens? Well it just might happen. And it gets worse. Sean Avery (lacerated spleen) is done for the year. Chris Drury (torso) and Blair Betts (broken jaw) are doubtful for game 4.
