Canucks 2 Wild 0

2 more assists from Bieksa? GOLD! He led the team in ice time as well.

The Wild looked tired being on the last game of their 4 game road trip and the Canucks took full advantage of them.

Who are the NE Division leaders right now? The fucking Canucks, baby! And all the pro pundits had us as failure.... Shame! This team is good.

My buddy who went to the game with me took some pretty good pics. As soon as he sends them my way, I'll have to put together a little blogpost.

There are some good ones for you to photoshop down the road :-)

I can barely remember the game, but thanks to TSN and Canucks.com video, I don't have to remember! There was a guy with a sign that said "#42 - Well Fed!" sitting in one of the front rows on the opposite side of the rink, but we weren't able to get a picture of the sign :-(

All in all, a pretty good game. Luongo's pad save is etched in my memory though, and no amount of $8.00 GM Place beer could erase it.

And for the record, I didn't know the hooker on Granville was a transvestite. You cannot hold it against me.

Heh!

Good on you for seeing another win! You're curse is over. That's 2 wins in 8 games now?! Talk about a dominating win.
Wellwood was talking about how he has had to change his game here on After Hours on Saturday post game. He has become more of a 2-way player, which you said you noticed at the game. Good stuff.
The guy with the Well Fed sign needs a bullet. I'm tired of the fatty jokes.
As far as the transvestite goes..... that depends on far you went with her...I mean him..
What happens on Granville stays on Granville, right?

Great game. Nice to see the old defensive Canucks back. Salo goal was sweet, Sedin goal even better.

Johnson is a blue-collar hockey fan's dream. Great work ethic in that guy.

Only person I wasn't impressed with?

Three guesses. It starts with a "Pie" and ends with an "At".

To me, I know Pyatt's offence has dried up, but he seems to be playing a better 2-way game. Of course, that isn't going to justify his salary is it?
AV is giving him every chance possible to get out of his scoring funk, to the point of people mocking the coach for doing so. Maybe he's trying to get Pyatt on a hot streak so he can trade him. Who knows. All I know is I've seen Pyatt's all-round game steadily improve as the season wears on.
