A deal "in principal." And Sportsnet's sources say that Panthers' defenceman Mike Van Ryn could be a part of the deal. The trade would occur after September 1, after McCabe collects the $2 million in bonuses owed to him by Toronto on that date.
Most outlets were suggesting it would be Jay Boumeester coming to Toronto. Time will tell.
