Marc Crawford fired

“We appreciate Marc’s commitment the two seasons he has been here,” said Kings' GM Dean Lombardi. “However, we believe that in evaluating where we are at and, more importantly, where we are going as an organization, we feel this coaching change was the right decision to make. We wish Marc the best in his future endeavors.”

In 162 games coached with the Kings, Crawford coached the Kings to a 59-84-21 record. The Kings are primed to turn a corner with all the youth they have, but Crawford will not be the one to coach them along.
It has been rumored in the past that Crawford did not handle rookies and younger guys well, but I'm not sure if that's the case here. I think the record speaks for itself. Plus, firing coaches is the flavor of the month.
Think anyone will come knocking on Crawford's door now?
