The Kings and Oilers make a trade

We have a trade to announce....(applause).....

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired defenceman Lubomir Visnovsky from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Jarret Stoll and defenceman Matt Greene.

This is a great trade for both sides. The Kings lost some offence by trading Mike Cammalleri at the Draft and hope Stoll can step it up. Matt Greene is a menacing presence on defence.
Think of how much better the Oilers' powerplay will be now with both Sheldon Souray (if he remains healthy) AND Luby Visnovski manning the points. That's a tonne of potential powerplay points sitting right there.

Nice move...indeed.

And, how about the moves Tampa(x) Bay has made...they are serious about rebuilding. Malone, Roberts and Rolston in a weekend.

And then there is Vancouver...you can hear the crickets chirping all the way over here in Chiner.
