Flyers trade rights to Vaclav Prospal back to the Lightning

Lightning strikes twice. The Flyers have traded the rights to scoring enigma Vaclav Prospal to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for the 7th overall pick in the upcoming 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

"Vinny really didn't express much of an interest in coming back and playing for us next season," said General Manager Holmgren in making the announcement. "His heart is elsewhere."

Since the Flyers acquired him at the trade deadline, Prospal scored 4 goals and 18 points in 18 regular season games for the Flyers, and added 3 goals and 13 points in 17 games for Philly in the playoffs.I guess Vinnie likes the babes on silicone beach too much down in Florida.
