Ryan Shannon sent down / Kesler speaks about hit

You can score a pretty goal with the Sedins all you want, but when you were a team-worst -4 in an 8-2 drubbing, you get sent down to the minors. Such is the case with Ryan Shannon, according to TSN. He'll be back though.

Kesler was vocal today about the shot he took in the chops from Jesse Boulerice.

"(League officials) have to do something severe enough to scare guys from doing that," said Kesler. "I didn't see him coming and he just took my head off," said Kesler. "I think he has a reputation of doing that, so we'll see what happens."
