New Canucks Jersey

Well, the speculations were not that far off. The new jersey is OK, but really could have done without the change.
So they placed a big Vancouver logo over the orca....so what? To me, it was a needless change.....but maybe it will grow on me. We'll see...
What do you think??

Why is it so rare that a new hockey jersey design is a sound decision? Running a hockey organisation, as far as corporations go, is incredibly challenging. It seems like they fall prey to the same issues as public art. Design by committee. This new jersey is like a beige blob plopped in front of a glass tower. It's utterly soulless, totally lacking in originality, guts, spirit, and balls.

And if you can't do something new, vibrant and forward looking, why ignore the public cry to use something of the stick in rink? It utterly defies all reason.
