Bertuzzi to the Ducks? Get the F**K outta here!

Brian Burke must like the guy because he has signed Big Bert to a 2-year $8 million deal. Bertuzzi's back will be in question.
I forget where adding this big floating oaf to the Ducks' Cup roster was really necessary. Oh right, because Teemu Selanne may retire.

**UPDATE**
The Flames have re-signed Robyn Regehr to a 5-year $20 million deal.

The Predators have signed Radek Bonk and Greg Devries.

The Flames have signed vet Owen Nolan to a 1-year deal worth $2 million plus bonuses. One thing is for sure...it's better to have Nolan than Tony Amonte!

Goodbye Bryan Smolinski. The Canadiens have signed the center to a 1-year deal worth $2 million. Hey, a raise!

King's GM Dean Lombardi received flack for not doing much on Day 1 of free afency, but today he dove into the fray, signing Ladislav Nagy, Michal Handzus and Kyle Calder.

The Thrashers have signed Ken Klee to a multi-year deal. A great stable force on the blueline.

A pic below of the announcement of Gomez and Drury to the Rangers:

I'm lost and confused. WTF is going on???

I'm glad Krajicek got signed, but is Nonis going to do anything else?

I think he is going to wait it out until the bidding wars are over. I mean, Smolinski for $2 million??? That's a little much.
He'll get some guys later on. The ones who are less in demand. Hence the whole Salvation Army thing.
He doesn't have a lot of cap space left!

As if the Ducks needed to get even more edgey with their play? Well, at least this confirms they won't repeat as cup champs. Everyone clap now!

I totally agree! Bertuzzi will not help them repeat!!!!

Actually, this is funny. Earl never liked having Brad May on his team for his violent ways. Now he has to watch the career-ender Bertuzzi for at least 2 years! hahaha!

Oh yeah, great point! Brad and Bert back together with Burke?? Those Duck/Av games will be fun as hell.

All my wishes for UFAs are gone. Walker never made it, Handzus is LA-bound and Hannan is a friggin Av. See, this is why I don't believe in anything :\

Forsberg? Peca? Lindros? Guerin? Fedotenko?

I'm going to go vomit now.

Those guys are too expensive!
I'm sure Nonis is going for the $1-1.5 million range.

Which would leave Magnus Arvedsson and Vladimir Krutov.

The Ducks may as well start packing up the Stanley Cup for the next winner. Bertuzzi?!?!? Baaahahahhaaa... Escpecially if they want anything out of him (note to Brian Burke...Bertuzzi was no better than a 3rd line winger for the Wings).

The other one that makes me laugh is Owen Nolan to the Flames. Classic Keenan going out and getting aging vets to try and work one more season of magic. Whatever... Wonder what Iginla thinks of all this...
