Who is leading the race for the Conn Smyth so far?
Scott Burnside at ESPN raises an interesting debate on who is the Playoffs MVP so far.
So, what do you think? Is it Hasek? Pronger? Alfredsson? Drury?
I am going to go with Daniel Alfredsson at this point. He has 6 goals and 5 assists in 10 games so far. He also has 3 power play goals and 2 game winners. Alfredsson has answered his critics and is playing probably the best playoff hockey of his career. Normally I hate the guy, but even I can admire what he is accomplishing this post season.
Love the ol' Instigator Cartoon from a few years back. This time around, Alfie's head is a cue ball.

Hard to pick out a single player on the Wings, although Datsyuk has had a strong post-season. The only games the Flames were able to win was when they shut him down.
When all is said and done, don't be surprised if Miller wins it.
Perhaps Big Bert will show up the next two rounds and bring home the Conn. :-)

James, it's amazing how passive I've become towards the Sens. To even say that Alfredsson is potentially a Conn Smyth candidate
should be like heresy.
