Ducks / Sens Game 2 Preview

From the Ottawa Sun:

The Senators coach doesn't want to instruct his players to do anything stupid, but Bryan Murray indicated if the Anaheim Ducks are going to get away with hooking, holding and obstruction, he's going to tell Ottawa players to try to do the same.
Murray hinted at the officials not doing a good enough job: "They got their physical play from good dump-ins and us not holding anybody up," Murray said. "Their first man in, got the hits. That was the main part. The other part is when people are standing around in front of the net trying to defend and they're hammering away at our defencemen, as well as our goaltender. Those are two areas that concern me.
And, I guess, we'll have to adjust our style and get back to holding up their forechecker better with our man, because it's obvious that it's not being called. We have to encourage our guys to do it. Those are areas that help or hurt aggressive play. When they got in time after time and got a chance to run a defenceman on a clean shot, it's difficult for the defenceman to make a play."

Murray always has a complaint of some sort. His suggestion that the Sens will be hooking and holding was not literal. He is just bringing the problem up to the officials through the media as a mind game.

The Sens are swearing a better effort from themselves in Game 2.
How much more should the Ducks expect from themselves? They played a terrific Game 1.

It appears that Earl Sleek will be attending Game 2 with his lucky T Shirt. (Sorry Temujin, you never should have made that bet!) Sleek will be the booger-colored guy to the left of the Ducks' penalty box. Look for him to be yelling through the glass at the Duck players to stop taking so many penatlies.

My call

The Sens will adjust from their Game 1 flaws and win Game 2 by a score of 2-1. The top line wakes up and improves, fighting through the Ducks' checkers.

The Mighty Ducks can still play a better game than the 1st one. They never even had to use the flying "V" or the Triple Deek. Hell Charlie and Goldberg never even dressed!

Charlie was the kid who did the triple deek to win the game and Goldberg was their goalie (These are characters from the disney movie).
