Peca to return early / Roberts says where he'll play
The Leafs have recieved some great news today about injured Mike Peca. According to Sportsnet, Peca says he will be on skates withing 3 weeks, and that he'll be back in the lineup before the playoffs start. Peca has not played since December 22nd after attaining multiple breaks in his tibia after colliding with Chicago's Jim Vandermeer.
Peca gave two reasons as to why he will play again this season:
"...one, I'm going to be back before the end of the regular season and, two, we're going to be in the playoffs."A bold statement indeed, I'm sure that was said to motivate his teammates. Or, he has a crystal ball.

Gary Roberts has stated recently that he will waive his no-trade clause to play in Toronto or Ottawa. Gary, Gary, Gary, how the f--- can you even insinuate that you'd play for Ottawa, you traiterous b------! That is nearly the equivalent of Mats Sundin playing in Detroit!

Matt-Roberts is well-known for how good of shape he is in! He has plenty to offer for a playoff run! You know it!
i've never really hated the sens... while sure they've had TO's # during the regular season most years, we always beat them in the playoffs. and it could be worse - roberts could want to go to montreal :x

I don't want him. He would be nice to have on the team, but you would have to give up too much for his "experience".
Matt- You must not have watched those Leafs games when Roberts played there! You're still stuck in 1989! :)
I don't know, anonymous, I wouldn't puke as hard if Roberts was in Montreal. My hate for the Sens runs deeper, probably because of the harsh rivalry in the postseason between the 2 teams in recent years!
Treebob-the way the Bruins are playing lately, they don't really need anybody!
