RED WINGS 3 LEAFS 2 (SO)

Mats Sundin scored on this shot in the shootout, but Jiri Hudler scored also in the shootout and Henrik Zetterberg scored a one-handed goal to seal the deal for the damned Red Wings.
I wish the Leafs still played in the Western Conference, especially because I miss the Leafs/Wings rivalry, a battle of 2 original 6 teams. This year they will only play eachother ONCE! Yeesh.

I wish the Leafs played the West more because I'd actually like to see them more than once every four years or whatever... *sigh* but I like playing the cross-town rivals 8 times/season, too, so... give and take?

Well I get to see them on CBC almost every Saturday and occasionally on TSN (Toronto Sports Network!)
You guys have a good rivalry with the Sharks and Ducks and Stars this year, but, I still don't like the new format at all. I say let the rivalries be created in the playoffs, because I want to see the Nucks play the Leafs, Penguins, Capitals, etc more often.
