PREDICTIONS FROM THE SCORE.CA

What can I say, I'm a sucker for predictions. In fact, I love predicting. A couple dudes from The Score.ca named Steve Kouleas and Greg Sansone, but probably mostly other Score writers have made some predictions in the new Score Forecaster Magazine. Here are the bold predictions:

Stanley Cup- Ducks
Conn Smythe- Niedermayer
Hart, Art Ross, Rocket Richard Trophy- Alex Ovechkin
Calder- Malkin
Norris- Niedermayer
Vezina- Ryan Miller
Jack Adams- Alain Vigneault
President's Trophy- Sabres

Eastern Conference

  1. Sabres
  2. Lightning
  3. Devils
  4. Hurricanes
  5. Senators
  6. Rangers
  7. Bruins
  8. Flyers
  9. Thrashers
  10. Capitals
  11. Panthers
  12. Leafs
  13. Islanders
  14. Canadiens
  15. Penguins
Western Conference
  1. Ducks
  2. Flames
  3. Predators
  4. Sharks
  5. Red Wings
  6. Wild
  7. Blue Jackets
  8. Canucks
  9. Stars
  10. Avalanche
  11. Oilers
  12. Coyotes
  13. Kings
  14. Blues
  15. Black Hawks
Interesting list. Some of them are almost insane in my opinion, like the Jackets in 7th?! The Canadiens in 14th? Is that a type-o? Of course I disagree with the Panthers finishing 11th!

What are your thoughts on how the Wild will do this year? Will Lemaire loosen the reigns and allow more offence? Will their barrage of changes this summer signal a serious increase in the standings? They could be the most suprising team this year.

I'm with you when you say the jackets will finish 7th but I do think that the canadiens will finish a bit higher. The ducks look pretty damn good!

I think the Penguins are still going to spend a few years inthe cellar,as most really young teams do.
RC..you hear anything about Montreal being interested in Eric Daze?

Whoever did this are cooks, habs 14th lol. IF huet played as he did last year and kovalev shines with samsonov. If koivu could come back to form after that injury we finish in the playoffs. Even if all this doesn't happen we will still be runners up for 8th place.
