CANUCKS BROADCAST SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The Vancouver Canucks announced their television schedule today, with a combined 80 games broadcast on Sportsnet,CBC, TSN and Canucks television. There will be 17 games on pay per view this year...same as last. Rumours had pay-per-view pegged as high as 25 games, so I guess I can live with 17 again.

Now the big question will be, dish out the $140.00 for PPV or have an excuse to slap on the Linden jersey and go the bar 17 times more than I normally would. Hmmm...tough one, unless I can manage to charge admission to watch PPV my big screen and sell beer and Captains @ $2.00 a drink. The math is telling me to open "Hodge's Saloon".

Well, no one's going to buy the booze from you, but to chip in for the PPV games..I'm in!
Actually, the way Jin scams your beer, maybe HE should start paying!

Bite your tongue!

The Saloon already has one major selling point. It's one of those promotional activities... you know, give the popular guy (Temujin) free booze because he attracts other customers simply by being present.

The level of service has deteriorated at our ex-favourite watering hole, so the PPV thing is a more-than-adequate alternative. Although Hodge's Saloon hasn't been offering up much in the way of snacking variety lately!
