JP DUMONT IS GOING TO MUSIC CITY

It appears that Sabres castaway JP Dumont has signed a 2 year deal worth $2.25 million per season. TSN reports that it should officially be announced by the Preds this afternoon.
Thank the Lord that the Dumont saga is over. It's amazing how much some people care about where the overpriced Dumont is going, but there really isn't much else going on in the league as far as news goes.
Dumont will be a good addition for the Preds, and will probably play on their second line with Hartnell and Legwand.
The Preds still haven't signed defenceman Dan Hamhuis yet, but will probably get this deal done within 2 weeks. The Tennessean is reporting that there isn't alot of talking on that front recently.
Nashville is sitting at about $34 million in salaries (including Dumont) with alot of room to spare.

Half the team wasn't resigned - there's probably room for Carter too. On the Preds website they enunciate Dumont's name so fans can say it right - sickening stuff!

Damn Eklund posted this signing as an e5 today , and then put the time behind to make it look like he predicted before it happened. What a dumb fucker!

He missed the Tanabe signing too. Spector had both of these before the "man with the inside track".

Okay, let up on the Preds trying to teach the fans a little about the game. Unlike you from Canada, and me from Michigan the locals didn't grow up on hockey. They will support a winner. Give them a chance. The lower priced seats are gone from every game. The expensive seats aimed at business are the ones that sit empty. Businesses need to step up, not "Joe Fan". Also, Legwand and Hartnell are going to be on the third line not second, but I am not going to bag on you for not knowing something the Preds fans already knew.
