HYPOTHETICAL TOP LINES
With nothing better to do, Beaner and I figured we'd put some top lines together that would be interesting to see. All the players listed are either playing in the NHL or have been drafted (we didn't have to make any of these gems up, honest). The possibilities are endless, many too vulgar to post. Here's a few of the favorites we came up with. Thanks to Ingmar @ He shoots He Scores for the NHL jersey site idea, who I just discovered, actually got it from our pal, Tapeleg, @ Jerseys and Hockey love.

MY favorite care from St. Louis Blues training camp in 2003. Doug Weight and Reed Low. Low Weight line. I don't think Tkachuk was skating with them.
Classic stuff, Hodge!
Oh man, I love that last one.
Okay, not love... just really find funny.
But as for you? Yeah, you're going to hell :-)
I've got some..
Cooke-Greene-Suchy line
Young-Brunette-Ryder
Savage-White-Fiddler
Brunette-May-Yelle
White-Orr-Brown
Savage-Young-Brunette
Rivers-Arnott-Friesen
Woolley-Pronger-Bonk
Fiddler-Doan-Walz
Well, I got one:
Yelle - Low - Snow
A little bit loose, but:
Chelios - Kohn - Carney
"I may e-mail them to you so you can post the names and let the readers compile their own. Then choose a winner. Sound good?"
Sounds good to me. Hodge?
How about Crosby-Nash-Young?
Payer-Ryder-Rohloff is my fave so far,
as is Yelle-Low-Snow, and Roy-Orr-Bison, and Brown-Ott-Orr. Crafty stuff.
This game reminds me of my favorite hockey sign ever, at a late-90s Buffalo game:
HASEK, you SMEHLIK like ZHITNIK!
I was impressed that they used restraint and didn't include Michal Grosek.
My 2nd favorite sign was at G6 of the 2003 Stars-Ducks series, in Anaheim, where the phrase "SINK DIMAIO" always lets me remember the precise date that we eliminated the Stars: Cinco de Mayo.
