HYPOTHETICAL TOP LINES

With nothing better to do, Beaner and I figured we'd put some top lines together that would be interesting to see. All the players listed are either playing in the NHL or have been drafted (we didn't have to make any of these gems up, honest). The possibilities are endless, many too vulgar to post. Here's a few of the favorites we came up with. Thanks to Ingmar @ He shoots He Scores for the NHL jersey site idea, who I just discovered, actually got it from our pal, Tapeleg, @ Jerseys and Hockey love.

Do the vulgar one's by leaving a blank! Gotta see'em! Funny stuff.

The best I'd come up with was an actual line. Yashin, Asham, and Kvasha! Say that three times fast, Bryan Murray!

MY favorite care from St. Louis Blues training camp in 2003. Doug Weight and Reed Low. Low Weight line. I don't think Tkachuk was skating with them.

Okay, not love... just really find funny.

But as for you? Yeah, you're going to hell :-)

How about a Pecker/Burns/Hussey line. Or Peters/Peca/Pecker.

I like the way you turned Alfredsson into a dick though, nice touch!

You guys don't know how much you got me going on this. It's like egging me on. I went through the whole OGRB looking for names. I found about 70 names you could mix and match - the possibilities are almost endless! I may e-mail them to you so you can post the names and let the readers compile their own. Then choose a winner. Sound good?

This game reminds me of my favorite hockey sign ever, at a late-90s Buffalo game:

HASEK, you SMEHLIK like ZHITNIK!

I was impressed that they used restraint and didn't include Michal Grosek.

My 2nd favorite sign was at G6 of the 2003 Stars-Ducks series, in Anaheim, where the phrase "SINK DIMAIO" always lets me remember the precise date that we eliminated the Stars: Cinco de Mayo.
