POOR DEVILS

Another one from "The Instigator" archive. Funny how timeless they seem to be!!
Poor Lou, can he actually pull something off without every other team in the NHL wanting to rob him blind??
Last year he had Elias fake Mono or something to get under the cap, so maybe there's a loophole or two in the CBA fine print??
What if Mogilny and Malahkov disappeared mysteriously?? or a boating accident?? Hmmm

And Lou looks like he belongs on the Soprano's too. His phone ought to be ringing 24/7 now!

BTW- finally got you guys linked! Computer script ain't my thing, but I'm learning. Now, how to axe that banner and get one that rocks!

Yeah, I think Elias's deal states that he has to contract Hepatitis A each fall to let Mogilny play, then just to show up around Christmas to get the team into the playoffs.

Maybe RC was referring to getting one of his own headers....
Sundin on any banner is a good thing!

Earl, was there any pictures of a sick Elias last season? Unless I find a pic of a bed-ridden Elias, I just may believe your conspiracy theory! heheh

You know what? I've never seen any photos either. All I know is that Gomez described a sickened Elias as 'pencil-thin' or 'pencil-yellow' or something like that.

It seems if it were that striking, somebody would take a photo, no? Just for the Masterson publicity, if nothing else.

Courtesy of Ice Chips: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said he expects Alexander Mogilny to compete for a job in training camp and he has apparently talked Vladimir Malakhov into coming back and reporting to training camp. Their combined $7.1 million cap figure will count whether they are on the team or not, so the Devils want them on the roster.

This makes sense. Play 'em then trade 'em!
