LIFE OUTSIDE HOCKEY

Besides Hockey, my fiance (Krista) and I enjoy Salmon fishing in the local rivers around Smithers. We're lucky, the Salmon season fits in right after the Playoffs and ends just before Preseason. I would have posted pic's of the monster I caught but I'm a true sportsman and let it go........honest. LOL

Smithers? sounds like a town Dudley Doo-right might have grown up in.
I thought this was a hockey blog?
I can't say I noticed any signs of modern life in those pics......
C'mon, you know I'm just kiddin.. the first pic shows what looks to be bales of hay in the lower left corner. of course, that could be a large smithers village too.....can't tell from that far away.
Ahhhh. the beauty of smithers says the same thing as the products made there....."untouched by human hands".

Beaner, Nice fish.....I went fishing here in Rhode Island not too long ago, I didn't catch any fish, but the guy next to me caught a beating from the cops for having an open beer in public.

Ahhh, the beauty of Rhode Island.

oh yea, since this is a HOCKEY blog.......Stop sending your rejects (Wade Brookbank) to Boston!!!!!!!

Brookbank, you may like him in Boston. He's one tough S.O.B. Sure has Gino Odjick hands around the net though!

Brookbanks a piece. He only won about a third of his fights. Chara is tougher but I guess you don't want to have the six million dollar man in the box too often.
