HOMELESS EDDIE

Negotiations between the Panthers and Eddie Belfour have come to an end and the Eagle will not play in Florida. The Panthers have decided to go with 'what they have', meaning Alex Auld. Exact reasons for this are unknown. This raises a couple questions. Is Auld ready to be a starting goalie? And what team is willing to take on Eddie for a one year deal? Comment, comment, comment!

$10 bucks says he done. Way too many decent young goalies out there to fill backup rolls and there isn't a hope he would get a starter job.

I think he'll return if guys like Legace/Osgood or Cloutier/Garon or Denis flounder.

He'll write a heck of an autobiography one day! Suggested title - "The Creases of a Cracked Mind".
