Canucks Super Skills Competition

Canucks.com is streaming the competition live right now (1:00 PST).

-Mats Sundin is participating. But he's dressed up as Ronald McDonald. Suddenly I feel hungry.

-A mini game between team blue and white saw Kyle Wellwood score the only goal for team blue. It was a roofer on Luongo. Team white had to do 20 pushups in the loss, according to Dan Murphy. Bieksa handled the pushups all on his own. His teammates just watched him.

Missed the Superskills. Too bad. Would have been nice to see the guys having fun for a change.

Hey look, there's a football player on the yellow team named Colon. (I don't know, or care, which team -- I hate football. Guys with worse midriffs than me cannot be considered athletes.)

Just waiting for Springsteen at halftime.

Yeh, the Nucks and the kids enjoyed themselves it seemed. Mason Raymond has skills I must say. I didn't see him joking around with Mitchell at all.
O'Brien was the life of the party.

I am skipping the Super Bowl. Never been into it and I have no clue why.

It's too bad you're a metal (plate-in-the) head, coz Springsteen was, as always, amazing. He's such a generous performer. Saw him once a long, long, looong time ago, in Ottawa of all places. He blew the walls out.

Yesterday, I played his song "Badlands" about 8 times as my solidarity song for the Canucks. Check the lyrics sometime and see what you think.

Yeah...no. I will never like Springsteen. In fact, Born to Run is one of my least favorite rock songs ever. Sorry. I know he has skills, but I just don't prefer his style.
