There no doubt the Canucks are excited to have Sundin join the club. Luongo played it cool, Daniel Sedin can hardly contain himself, and Demitra knows he is going to play with a world class player. Mike Brown will switch to #15 and said it is his honor to give Mats the #13. Check out the TSN footage here.

With all of Sally Samo's time on the injury list, I wonder what his actual cap hit is for the year.

I swear that I wouldn't mind seeing the Nucks dispose of Sally. It's fair to accept he's injury prone and that will never change.
He'd be great to play poker against because he has the worst luck :)

Johnson our 3-4 weeks still?? Aw man, that sucks. He must have had a setback, cause originally it was 3-4 weeks total.
Sami was havin one of his "good" nights on Wed when he got hurt. Imagine the Nucks goin on a deep run this year, I cant see Sami lastin 4 rounds potentially. I say fix him up, play him soft minutes and trade him when he looks good again. He should be worth a fair bit still.

On another note, I can't believe the hate towards the Nucks from Eastern Canada. I watched shows at the beginnin of the year where the Leafs were playin hard and people were talkin about "sleeper" teams and potential playoffs.
Whenever Vancouver is discussed, they get brushed off instantly. Despite having Lou and a solid d-corps. The ignorance is incredible and it bothers me that there can be so much stupidity in my fellow man :)

Nucks win tonight big. Chicago has been playin out of there shoes, and tonight there rocket ship returns to earth. 5-2 Nucks

The reporters can diss us all they want. People can project us to fail. We don't need the extra attention over here until we win a Cup. I like it when teams exceed expectations.
Know where the Canucks are getting a lot of props? Sweden. Sundin is a religion over there.
There is ignorance in the East, but I have met several people from the East who aren't. There's ignorance everywhere when it comes to hockey, including here. It just bothers me when the mainstream media in the East is ignorant towards us.
Can we beat Chicago tonight? I don't know. I gotta write a pre game right now and make a pick!

Looks like the injuries were bad enought to warrant filing a case. If they were in LA, I would recommend that they go see a Los Angeles injury attorney or maybe someone that could get them some legal advice.
