Nonis' opinion of signing Forsberg

"If there is a deal that makes sense for our hockey team, that makes us better, regardless of who it is, we would do it," said Nonis. "If it's a deal that decimates our reserve list, takes all of our top prospects, requires players off our team along with those picks and prospects, then I think it's highly unlikely that we would do that for any rental player."

Good man, Nonis! Now quick, get Roberts or Gelinas for a playoff run! They won't cost as much!

Any GM who coughs up two first round picks and a player for a guy who is one moderate check away from re-aggravating any multitude of his historical injuries should be fired.

...That said, Nonis will have done just that while I was writing this...

I heard a clip of Nonis on the radio this morning - saying he'd be more into younger guys.

Okay that sounds wrong when I repeat it.

Mike- I'm going to give Nonis the benefit of the doubt on this one!

Miss 604- haha! You never know, you never know! Maybe we should put up a neighborhood watch!

Get Guerin from St. Louie. He's the ticket!

I don't know about Guerin. He's a decent winger but does not have a Cup ring like Roberts and Gelinas do. He's not what I'd call a clutch player. Interesting option though....

Forget about it! We get Roberts! Gelinas is a francophone, he should play in his homeland.
