A great day on the mountain

At 11:00 yesterday morning, two friends of mine, brothers named Devon and Brian Bakker banged on my door, forcing me to drag my sorry ass out of bed. They invited me to go sledding with them. An hour later the sleds were loaded up and we headed out to a mountain range about an hour north of Smithers called Harold Price.
This range is not too difficult to sled in, which is good because I am a beginner. We had a terrific day, and the guys showed me a few tricks, 'like pulling a doughnut.' That will be useful next time as I got the sled I used stuck about 6 times in the deep powder snow!
The picture is of Devin and Brian on top of one of the mountains that we sledded up. A great day indeed. Now I am so bloody sore from it that I need to rest my weary bones and muscles! Posted by Picasa

Holy smokes. Why is there so much snow?! That much snow would make me cry.

"Why is there so much snow?!" Probably because they are in the mountains....but just a guess

telling other people they have shitty spelling will not make up for your lack of grammer and your ability to write at a 5th grade level.....

That's quite the view!

Don't listen to Matt. You didn't miss much in the way of hockey last night. The Flames managed to squeak past a weary, tired, and broken Stars club that essentially dominated the whole game.

That, and in other news Pavel Kubina got his first goal on the season for the Leafs, giving him 7 points in 27 games this season.

Now get yourself some Robaxacet
and relax :-)

Nothing beats a pussy who hides behind an anonymous name!
Obviously I hit one of your few nerves.

Isabella- there is probably over 4 feet of snow up there.

Matt- Ha! I was so sore, I couldn't sleep! The Flames could be in trouble though. How long is Iggy out?

Thank you for the obvious, anonymous, but there are, in fact, mountains that sometimes don't have a lot of snow. It's a novel concept, I agree, but that's the fascinating world we're living in these days!

Also, if you're being nitpicky about somebody's grammar, it helps to understand how to use an ellipsis. Also, your sentence would have been better had you deigned to use capitalization, but at least you get points for not using the caps lock.

Nitpicking grammar only works when your grammar is impeccable. Otherwise the insult is just ironic.

Zanstorm – 4 feet? That's crazy. We shut down when there's half a foot of snow on the ground. Looks like you had fun, though, so kudos to you :)

Ever wonder what that white shit on top the north shore mountains a measly ten miles from your urban dwelling was??. The snow pack in the coastal mountains rivals anything Zanstorm experienced yesterday.

You've obviously never been to the Bulkley Valley before. It's time to stop talking now, and save what little respect you have for yourself.

Run along, little man. Let the adults continue their conversation in peace.

It's true. The mountains around Smithers are not part of the coastal mountains and don't get as much snow.

It's funny, because I thought Hodge was 'anonymous', so alot of my spelling smack was as sarcastic as his comments were.
But hey, I'm not a great writer and I know it. You haven't hurt my feelings, whoever you are!

Isabella, we have more snow down low at town-level than we've had in years. But nothing really shuts down here except the highways. For some reason, our highway maintenance staff is not very effective this year. Nevertheless, I love the white shit!
