PRIMEAU WILL RETIRE TOMORROW

A quote from the Flyers team physician:

"Although he's been able to do more, he really hasn't been able to eliminate all of his symptoms," Gary Dorshimer said Wednesday. "He still having these symptoms and I can't clear him to go back to full activity."
Insiders are leaking that Primeau will retire at a press conference tomorrow mornng at 11 AM EST.

What Clarke had told Primeau recently was:

"You don't want to become a distraction. If you can't play, we have to go on without you."

Primeau then agreed to retire, and Bobby Clarke put the gun down.
