SEPARATED AT BIRTH #6
The resemblances aren't the closest I've ever seen, but Butcher always reminded me of Bobcat Goldthwait. Bobcat is most known for his role as Zed in the Police Academy movies (yeah, the freaky guy!)
A funny quote from Butcher during a game:
Butcher, while playing for the Leafs says to Hurricane enforcer Stu Grimson: "Hey Grimson, how come your parents named you Stu - couldn't they spell stupid?"

And for a round at the pub, can you tell me what the "JCM" stands for on Butchers left shoulder?
NO!!! I can't! I used to know this. Jersey City Madness?
Jesus creates monster?
LOL!!!!
"I used to know this"
HAHAHA! I guess you are buying the rounds this weekend :)
I did. It stands for Jake Milford. He was a Canuck draft pick once, and Canucks VP. Team sucked so bad, the guy croaked.
I'd like a double spiced rum and coke
Good One!
Google is your friend :)
Yeah, but it took a while!
Was there ever an Arthur Griffiths SR patch?
LOL! i dont think so!!!
Actually it was Frank Griffiths. The Griffiths family owned the Canucks, The Grizzlies, and Pacific Coliseum/GM Place. They put the money up to keep the high priced Pavel Bure here. Frank died in 1994 and I remember Ron Maclean consoling Arthur Griffiths (Frank's son) about it after the Game 7 loss in the Finals that year.
Frank Sr.
